My approach to your wedding day...

This is honestly one of the biggest compliments I could hope to receive!
Getting to know my couples in the run up to their wedding, so that right from the moment I arrive on the day I make them feel so at ease that it’s like having a lifelong friend take their photographs, is one of the biggest joys of this job.
Making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable around me is so important, as that’s how I’m going to capture all the beautiful, genuine candid moments during your day.
For much of the day, I'll be looking out for those moments. I work in an unobtrusive manner, but that's not to say I will be hiding at the back out of sight, you will find me here, there and everywhere!
That being said, I can read the room and I know when it’s time to step back and let the natural moments play out in front of me, but I also know when it’s time to step in and get amongst it all. I love capturing all the action and emotion as it happens. Whether there is laughter or happy tears, I'll be there for it all. Always in a natural way that feels comfortable to you.
Creating authentic images that tell stories of life and love
While a large majority of your photos will be candid and unposed, I do understand the importance of getting some portraits of just the two of you. Luckily for you, I’m allergic to awkward poses, and I’m guessing that you probably are too.
With that in mind, 20 minutes max is all I need (hopefully when the sun is low in the sky). We can nip off, I'll have you walking, talking and laughing, I want you to feel and be yourselves. I find inspiration in the changing seasons, the light and the mood of the year. When it comes to couple time, I love to incorporate these into your images.

If you choose me for your day, you will be getting a down to earth photographer/extra guest who will give 110% to make sure you have a collection of wedding photos heaped with emotion, filled with light and love and that are unique to you as your relationship is. They will consist of moments you missed, the ones you want to treasure, and above all a remarkable story of your day.
